This is an immersive block with a Media and Text block tucked into it. You can change the background color of the whole block by selecting the Immersive block, using the block settings sidebar, toggle off the background media, go to the styles tab, and select background and text color.
Best practices:
Photos should be a pretty consistent shape, ideally 2:3 Landscape. And text shouldn’t be too long on each slide, maybe 5 lines at most.
When you create your own version of this block, make sure to check it on mobile before publishing to make sure everything looks ok.
