Willett was named winner of the 25th annual Bristol-Myers Squibb/Mead Johnson Freedom to Discover Award for Distinguished Achievement in Nutrition Research earlier this month. An independent panel selected Willett, who is also the chairman of the Department of Nutrition in the Faculty of Public Health, and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
